Cat in the Hat is a Children's Movie??    As a person who loves Cat in the Hat and knows almost the whole script from memory, I do have to say that it is very inappropriate. Some mothers have restricted their kids from watching Cat in the Hat because of all the sexual references. I think that Cat in the Hat is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.  Unfortunately, it should not be classified as a children's movie.   Some of the inappropriate references in the movie: The Cat's hat growing when he sees a picture of Conrad and Sally's mom. The Cat also references how babies are made, "When a mommy cat and a daddy love each other very much, they decide to..." "You pay this woman to sit on babies, that's disgusting! I'd do it for nothing." In a later scene, the Cat picks up a gardening hoe and says, "Dirty hoe!  I'm sorry baby, I love You." then he licks the hoe. Another is during the

Should Social Media Websites Be Blocked On School WiFi? Many schools around the United States have chosen to block all social media.  Some say that blocking social media is a way to prevent students from getting distracted.  Teachers might be afraid that students will choose to go on gaming websites instead of using their computers for real school work.  Another reason schools might block social media from students WiFi is to prevent cyber bullying.  Students could use their snap chat , Instagram , or Facebook , to be mean to other students.   Media Consumption By Charlee Davis This photo is an example of teenagers spending their time on their phones instead of socializing and hanging out together. Media usage in 2017 can seriously affect someone's lifestyle and time management. Most people spend the majority of their day on electronic devices or watching TV. During the past two weeks I was asked to chart my media consumption. Throughout this time I have noticed that I spend way more time on social media platforms than normal. I was spending approximately 5 Hours a week on social media and gaming apps.  I would decide to play on my phone instead of doing my homework or scheduling my time usefully. I was initially shocked when I logged my time in the chart because compared to the other categories I spent almost four hours more on social media than watching TV or seeing commercials and advertisements. Using the information gathered within the past two weeks I definitely have decided to restrict mys
